Ingredients
4-5 medium to large shiitake mushroom
2 tsp dry minced garlic
2 Tbsp melted vegan butter
2 Tbsp liquid amino
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp maple syrup
1.5 tsp paprika
1 tsp liquid smoke
2 tsp dry minced onion
salt & pepper to taste
Directions
Step 1: Clean mushrooms with a dry brush. Do not saturate with water. Pull stem off of mushrooms and cut into thin slices.
Step 2: Mix all other marinade ingredients together in a bowl.
Step 3: Add mushrooms to the bowl and mix until the mushrooms are evenly coated with the marinade. Let sit for 2-3 hours at room temp or in the refrigerator.
Step 4: Evenly spread the mushrooms out on parchment paper. Place the paper on a baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes, then flip. Cook for 5-10 more minutes or until desired crispiness.
