Ingredients:
1 Large Onion
Dry Batter
1 cup of arrowroot powder or cornstarch if you can not find arrowroot.
2 tsp of cajun seasoning
Wet Batter
1 cup of oat milk or plant-based milk
5 tbsp of vegan egg
1 + 1/2 cups of arrowroot powder or cornstarch if you can not find arrowroot
2 tsp of cajun seasoning
Panko Mix
1 cup of panko
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
Salt & Pepper to taste
Step 1. Cut your onions. (I like mine thick) Soak in cold water for 20 - 30.
Step 2. Dip into dry batter, wet batter, and panko mix
Step 5. Air fry at 350 degrees for about 12 - 15 minutes or until golden crispy. Spray with avocado oil or grapeseed oil for an even fry. Flip and check on them every 5 minutes.
